- Create custom apps for your data-tracking needs. New to 2013 version, Web apps are a new type of tool that you build within Access. They're great for solving specific data-centric needs like contact management, customer billing, and order tracking.
- No app development knowledge is needed. Access makes writing apps easy, handling the database complexities and even creating a natural user interface. You simply enter what you need to track. Once written, apps can be used and shared with others on a server, accessible via a web browser. And users don't need Access installed to use Access apps.
- Create and run traditional databases, too. As with previous versions of Access, you can create desktop databases from scratch or a template, and open existing ones.
